Dzisiaj najdłużej na odsłuchu w odtwarzaczu CD pozostał Portugalski IRAE i czwarty album tego projektu "Crimes Against Humanity". Widać lata już nie te, bo pamięć szwankuje. Owszem, materiał jest surowy i czyni spore zniszczenie, ale brzmieniowo jest całkiem czytelnie i bezproblemowo wyłapiemy tu każdy z instrumentów. Nie jest też problemem doszukać się tu kilku punkowych elementów czy thrashowych, ale są one bardzo zgrabnie wplecione w ramy Black Metalu. Pojawiają się też bardziej nostalgiczne, przepełnione żalem melodie gitar, a początek utworu "A Um Passo Do Fim" jest tego dobrym przykładem. Jednakże ten smutek jest pełen jadu, pieprzonej agresji i nienawiści, która jest ukierunkowana na słuchacza. Ogólnie gdyby podsumować panującą tu aurę, to właśnie stawiałbym na zderzenie nienawiści z ognistym gniewem. Czuć tu rękę samego Diabła, że sam Rogaty czuwał gdy materiał był komponowany. Co trzeba oddać Vulturiusowi, który odpowiada za wszystkie instrumenty i muzykę w IRAE, to fakt, że ma talent do pisania surowego Black Metalu. Czuć autentyczność, a z drugiej strony kompletną ignorancję na to, czy komukolwiek ten album się spodoba. Prędkości z jakimi obcujemy to przekrój od szybkich po wolniejsze. Today, the Portuguese IRAE and the fourth album of this project "Crimes Against Humanity" is the longest to be listened to on a CD player. Those who are sitting a little bit more in the underground and looking for more and more repulsive creations have definitely already dealt with this name. Established in 2002 to spread the spectre of humanity's death, IRAE has been releasing more material since 2003. A lot of demos, EPs, splits, compilations and four albums so far - although the fifth is already announced for the second half of June. So it's time to take a look at what's been going on in the basement chambers of Lisbon.
I must admit that a few months have passed since the last listening to this album. What's more, I was convinced that playing "Crimes Against Humanity" I will get a total basement Black Metal. You can see the years aren't that anymore, because the memory is failing. Yes, the material is raw and makes a lot of devastation, but in terms of sound it's quite clear and we can easily catch each of the instruments. It is also not a problem to find a few punk or thrash elements here, but those are very neatly woven into Black Metal frames. There are also more nostalgic, sorrowful guitar melodies, and the beginning of "A Um Passo Do Fim" is a good example of that. However, this sadness is full of venom, fucking aggression and hatred, which is directed at the listener. Generally speaking, if I were to sum up the aura here, I would bet on the clash of hatred with burning anger. You can feel the hand of the Devil himself here, that Horned One was watching while the material was being composed. What needs to be given back to Vulturius, who is responsible for all the instruments and music in IRAE, is that he has a talent for writing raw Black Metal. You can feel the authenticity and, on the other hand, complete ignorance of whether anyone will like this album. The speeds we are dealing with range from fast to slower. Everything traditionally thrown into one cauldron, boiling and emanating sulphur. Excellent vocals, also traditional and without any surprises. Simply, Black Metal!
