"Unhallowed Death Triumph" to debiutancki materiał szwedzkiego trio i możecie się spodziewać jednego - Death Metalu w jego pierwotnej formie, przepełnionego Złem i Śmiercią. Cztery utwory jakie złożyły się na ową EPkę to nieco ponad 17 minut muzyki. Pierwsza krew została rozlana, podziemie zwraca uwagę na szwedzki twór. Zacznijmy może od razu od przywołania porównań by przybliżyć Death Metal jakim trudni się GRAVFRAKTAL. Otóż, sądzę że rzucenie takiej nazwy jak Sadistic Intent bardzo nakreśli z czym mamy do czynienia, przynajmniej w postaci atmosfery jaką ta muzyka wywołuje. Aranżacyjnie jest to nieco bardziej złożony organizm. Po pierwsze, partie gitar są bardziej rozbudowane, często usłyszymy ich dualność z jedną z nich w roli prowadzącej. Riffy zdecydowanie nie tylko są nastawione na przysłowiowy wpierdol, ale niosą ze sobą bardzo udane i sprawnie łączone elementy rytmiki i melodyki. Po drugie, aranżacyjnie zaznamy tu mniej oczywistej toporności i archaizmu niż w muzyce przywołanych bogów Evil Death Metalu. W szkieletach poszczególnych utworów jest więcej przestrzeni, ale nie zmienia to faktu, że wizualizacją tej muzyki mogłyby duszna piwnica z gnijącymi trupami. To jednak, jak mniemam, kłóciłoby się z przekazem i samą nazwą zespołu - Grobowy Fraktal. Swoją drogą bardzo ciekawa nazwa nasuwające pytanie czy taki fraktal jest jednym z wielu składającym się na całość czy też może odwrotnie - gdy przyjrzymy się mu dokładniej, zaczniemy zgłębiać, wtedy odnajdziemy to coraz to nowsze detale dotyczące jego materii. I stosując to w odniesieniu do grobu, a w szerszym znaczeniu śmierci... Wróćmy jednak do muzyki. GRAVFRAKTAL nie unika żadnych prędkości, chłoszcząc równie skutecznie w bardzo szybkich partiach, jak i dusząc słuchacza przy zwolnieniach. Świetna praca basu, który jest zaznaczony na całości materiału. Dynamiczna praca perkusji, nie przesadzona utrzymująca tę nawałnicę śmierci w sztywnych ryzach. Nad wszystkim panują wokale Warslughter'a dobrze nam znane z dokonań Kill. Tak więc nie pozostaje nic innego, jak tylko biegiem do Iron Bonehead po sztukę winyla. Kapitalna EPka.

"Unhallowed Death Triumph" is the debut material of the Swedish trio and you can expect one - Death Metal in its primordial form, filled with Evil and Death. The four tracks that made up this EP are just over 17 minutes of music. The first blood was spilled, the underground draws attention to the Swedish creation. Let's start with the comparisons to bring closer the Death Metal that GRAVFRAKTAL is doing. Well, I think that throwing a name like Sadistic Intent will very much outline what we are dealing with, at least in the form of the atmosphere this music evokes. In terms of arrangement, it is a slightly more complex organism. First of all, the guitar parts are more complex, we often hear their duality with one of them in the leading role. Riffs are definitely not only oriented towards the proverbial beating the shit out of the listener, but they carry very successful and efficiently combined elements of rhythm and melody. Secondly, arrangementally, we will experience here a less obvious roughness and archaism than in the music of the evoked gods Evil Death Metal. There is more space in the skeletons of individual tracks, but this does not change the fact that visualization of this music could be a stuffy basement with rotting corpses. This, however, I think, would argue with the message and the very name of the band - Grave Fractal. By the way, a very interesting name that raises the question whether such a fractal is one of the many that make up the whole or maybe the other way round - if we overdo it more thoroughly, we will start to explore it, then we will find newer and newer details about its matter. And applying this to the grave, and in the broader sense of death... But let's go back to music. GRAVFRAKTAL does not avoid any speed, flogging as effectively in very fast parts as it suffocates the listener on slowdowns. Great bass work, which is marked on the whole EP. Dynamic work of the drums, not exaggerated, keeping this storm of death in rigid control. Everything is ruled by Warslughter's vocals well known to us from Kill's achievements. So there is nothing left to do but to run to Iron Bonehead for the piece of vinyl. A brilliant EP.
