Chwila odprężenia z piwem w łapie i muzyką w tle niosą ze sobą relaks. Relaks, który jest tak cholernie potrzebny, do odbudowy organizmu. To co dzisiaj wylało się z głośników to szwajcarski HÅN, wraz ze swoim najnowszym wydawnictwem. To, jakże krótkie słowo - HÅN w języku norweskim oznacza pogardę. W skład zespołu wchodzi pięciu artystów, znanych z udziału w innych grupach, by tylko wspomnieć o: GUIGNOL NOIR, TARDIGRADA, czy TEMESRAS. Grupa ta istnieje od 2009 roku, ale jak do tej pory w ich dyskografii znajdziemy jedynie trzy pozycje: demo i dwa albumy. Najważniejsze jest to aby dźwięki wykreowane przez muzyków były prawdziwą sztuką, a nie byle gównem.
Świeży i jeszcze gorący, jak bulgocząca w starym wulkanie lawa, album Szwajcarów zawiera dziewięć utworów, które łącznie trwają przez prawie czterdzieści sześć minut black metalu utrzymanego w szybkich tempach. Muzyka rozpoczyna się ciekawie brzmiącymi klawiszami, bardzo kuszącymi chłodną i mistyczną atmosferą, by po kilku chwilach zamienić to a pełną adrenaliny dynamikę, która świetnie odnajduje się w szybszych tempach niż wspomniane wcześniej klawiszowe pasaże. Pomimo tego, że muzyka odznacza się i surowością i agresją, to jednak melodyjność bierze tu górę. Gitary są bezkompromisowe, uderzają wściekłym riffem utrzymanym w tradycyjnym dla gatunku tremolo. Poziom agresji sięga zenitu, ale melodie wplątane w agresję wciskają muzykę w inny wymiar odbioru. Sprawia to, że noga bezwiednie porusza się w wygrywany rytm. Moments of relaxation with a beer in your hand and music in the background bring relaxation. Relaxation, which is so damn needed, to rebuild the body. What poured out of the speakers today was Swiss HÅN with their latest release. This, so short word - HÅN in Norwegian means contempt. The band consists of five artists, known for their participation in other groups, just to mention: GUIGNOL NOIR, TARDIGRADA, or TEMESRAS. The group exists since 2009, but so far in their discography we can find only three works: a demo and two albums. The most important thing is that the sounds created by the musicians are real art, not just crap.
Fresh and still hot as lava bubbling in an old volcano, the Swiss album contains nine tracks, which together last for almost forty-six minutes of black metal maintained in fast tempos. The music begins with interesting-sounding keyboards, very tempting with a cool and mystical atmosphere, only to turn this into an adrenaline-filled dynamic after a few moments, which finds its way well into faster tempos than the aforementioned keyboard passages. Despite the fact that the music is characterized by harshness and aggression, melodiousness prevails here. It tugs at my heartstrings, as it evokes the good old days of the mid-nineties, which still boil and swirl within me. The guitars are uncompromising, striking with furious riffs maintained in tremolo, traditional for the genre. The level of aggression reaches its zenith, but the melodies entwined with the aggression push the music into another dimension of perception. It makes your foot involuntarily move to the beat. The bass guitar adds to the stove, deepening the gloomy atmosphere, and when it enters the solo parts, it gives the impression of a multi-tone pressure on the chest, which causes the breath to stop. The percussion is a little too loud in my opinion, but it's not a problem that would interfere with the listening experience. I really like the way it rushes at breakneck speed, and all those transitions sound interesting at the same time. The vocals, for a rather raw form, are quite accessible, clearly audible. It presents something between a screech and a growl. There is a kind of magical fire in it, which brings out an interesting melodiousness, which makes the whole thing stay in your memory for a long time.
