No, to od samego rana wziąłem się za konkretną muzykę, która szybko potrafi postawić na nogi budzący się do życia umysł. Do odtwarzacza wcisnąłem album Premiers Chants, który został wykreowany przez kanadyjski OSSUAIRE. Zespół ten powstał w 2016 roku i do tej pory w jego dyskografii znalazły się dwa albumy i jedna ep, którą wydali jako pierwsze dzieło. Trochę zaskoczyła mnie ta mała ilość wydawnictw, biorąc pod uwagę tak wielki potencjał muzyków. Jednak wiadomo, że nie od razu Rzym zbudowano, a OSSUAIRE kroczy małymi ale pewnymi krokami, po ścieżce black metalu.
Premiers Chants to drugi materiał, a zarazem pierwszy album w dorobku Kanadyjczyków. Na krążku tym znalazło się sześć utworów, które łącznie trwają trochę ponad czterdzieści minut. Muzyka jest utrzymana w szybkich i średnich tempach, ale zdarzają się też chwile, gdy materia muzyczna płynie nieco wolniej, z wściekłej agresji, zdolnej rozpętać największą wojnę zamienia się w magiczny rytuał, podczas którego można na chwilę się zatrzymać by nabrać sił na kolejną walkę. Perkusja brzmi niczym wypełnione adrenaliną serce, bezlitośnie wybijające rytm do walki z odwiecznym wrogiem. Wokal jest perfekcyjny i obłędny. Utrzymany w bardzo chropowatym i niskim tonie, potrafi też zaskoczyć swoją czystą barwą. Czasami pojawiają się klawisze, ale nie są one tu instrumentem dominującym. So, from the very beginning of the morning I took to the specified music, which can quickly put on the feet of the waking mind. I pressed into the player the album Premiers Chants, which was created by Canadian OSSUAIRE. This band formed in 2016 and so far their discography includes two albums and one ep, which they released as their first work. I was a bit surprised by this small number of releases, considering such a great potential of the musicians. However, it is known that Rome wasn't built in a day, and OSSUAIRE is taking small but sure steps on the black metal path.
Premiers Chants is the second material, and at the same time the first album in the output of the Canadians. On this album there are six tracks, which together last a little over forty minutes. Music is kept in fast and medium tempos, but there are also moments when musical matter flows a little slower, from furious aggression, capable of unleashing the biggest war turns into a magical ritual, during which you can stop for a moment to gain strength for the next fight. The sounds that can be heard on this album are associated with the spirit of Scandinavian black metal from the early nineties and, of course, there are typical elements of the Quebec scene, where the horde originated. Guitars sound powerful creating dense, very harmonious sounds, and despite the great aggression put into these compositions, the melody blends perfectly with the rest of the riffs, which allows these sounds to take root in the mind for a very long time. Earlier I mentioned a slightly softer form of playing. There is one track where the guitar goes into acoustic sounds, which reminds me of BATHORY's work. The bass guitar is well audible and gives weight to all compositions, which only increases the digestibility of this music. The drums sound like a heart filled with adrenaline, mercilessly beating the rhythm to fight the eternal enemy. The vocals are perfect and insane. Kept in a very rough and low tone, it can also surprise with its pure color. Sometimes there are some keys, but they are not a dominant instrument here. I recommend getting familiar with OSSUAIRE's music.
